Born in Brazil… Moved to the US after being recruited to play for the Fresno State tennis team, where she reached the top of the NCAA doubles ranking, and then pursued a career in coaching… Was head coach of the Michigan State’s women’s tennis team… Only pro open player to date to have won gold in singles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles in all three majors: Nationals, US Open and Tournament of Champions… Married (Chad) with two children, Alexas and Landon, and four dogs.
