D.C. Pickleball Team was formed in December 2022 by Al Tylis, Sam Porter, Eva Longoria, Justin Verlander, Kate Upton, Rip Hamilton, Shawn Marion, Odell Beckham Jr. and Mesut Ozil. When we learned of the opportunity to represent DC with an MLP team, we were thrilled given our familiarity with and history in the DC community. Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in America and DC plays a major role in that growth with the number of players playing in the DMV area. D.C. Pickleball Team aims to unite communities through our accessible sport and to help grow and elevate it in every way we can.
