Miami Pickleball Club was formed in 2022 by tennis players Naomi Osaka and Nick Kyrgios, musician Kygo, two-time Super Bowl winner Patrick Mahomes, NBA super-agent Rich Paul, and others. Miami is one of the most vibrant and fastest growing cities in the country; for this reason, the ownership group felt strongly about basing the new team in the magic city. Several owners, including Palm Tree Crew (the company owned by Kygo) call Miami home, and the team is committed to growing the MPC brand, the league, and the sport of pickleball  in South Florida and beyond.
