Columbus Sliders “The Bus” was initially formed in 2022 by David Kass and Doug Ulman both currently residing in Columbus, Ohio. David had a deep background in racquet sports as a former pro tennis player and current owner of Professional tennis events and had been watching the massive growth and popularity of Pickleball. Doug formerly lived in Austin and had several deep relationships with some of the original founding members of MLP.  They were both excited about the MLP format and the opportunity to purchase a team and help grow the league.
